Requirement 1: Indoor Traditional Portrait
For this one, I set up a soft box light and a more powerful umbrella light and pointed them at my girlfriend at different angles to achieve the desired lighting.

Requirement 2: Indoor Natural Light Portrait
We stood by my front door and let the natural light brighten up one side of her face.

Requirement 3: Outdoor Available Light Portrait
We stood in my backyard and used a reflective bounce card that came with my lighting kit, and after many failed attempts due to her blinking or looking away because it was too bright, we got a decent picture.

Requirement 4: Flash + Ambient
We went outside later in the night and used the light combined from my detached garage and a light from my phone pointed at her at a different angle to get a nice-looking effect.

 1. Indoor traditional self portrait: I used two floor lamps for the key and fill light. Did not have a back light.

2. Indoor natural light: I blocked all of the light in the hallway and made the candle the fill light in this photo. I played with exposure and aperture settings on my camera to capture a dark and moody photo.

3. Outdoor available light: first photo is on a cloudy day and the second photo is on a sunny day under shade.

4. Oops, I forgot to do the flash + ambient light requirement. SORRY, I can post something later!!

Requirement 1 (Indoor Traditional Portrait): All photos were taken on an iPhone 13 Pro camera. This is my little cousin Deila, I had an old studio light but I didn't want to put too much light on her since she blushed a lot during this photo.

Requirement 2 (Indoor Natural Light Portrait): A different angle of Deila's face. She is in front of a window with some sunlight on her face, but it is cloudy today.

Requirement 3 (Outdoor Available Light Portrait): Again it was a bit cloudy outside so that did affect a little bit of the light in the photo.

Requirement 4 (Flash + Ambient) (Candid shot): With the flash on my phone, I did my best to not have the flash directly into her face. This is also a candid shot, she is here looking at her favorite cousin, my sister.

#1 (Requirement 1) Indoor Traditional Portrait

This photo was taken in a class studio with studio lights and backdrop.  You can see the umbrella lights reflected in the girls glasses.

#2 (Requirement 2)  Indoor Natural Light Portrait

This photo was taken by a hallway window. The natural sunlight is highlighting one side of the face, while the other side is shadowed. The rest of the hallway is in shadow.

#3 (Requirement 3)  Outdoor Available Light Portrait
This Candid photo was taken outside on a rainy day.  The muted sunlight reflecting off the wet sidewalk and the brick building is the key light. The fill light is the wet of the sidewalk.

   #4 (Requirement 4) Flash + Ambient
This photo has the key light of the flash which is reflected in the girls glasses.
The fill light is the Christmas lighting.

1. Requirement 1: Indoor Traditional Portrait
The key light for this portrait was overhead lighting. I was able to control the brightness settings for that. The fill light was an LED lamp. It is placed to my side in this photo.

2. Requirement 2: Indoor Natural Light Portrait
For natural lighting, I used the window pictured behind me. No other lights were used. The sunlight filtering through is the key light in this image. It is the main source of light and illuminates the subject (me).

3. Requirement 3: Outdoor Available Light Portrait
I took this photo in my backyard. I positioned the camera under the shed which provided a little shade. The sunlight is the key light. The shadows serve as a fill light.

4. Requirement 4: Flash & Ambient
For this portrait, I used the exact same lighting (key and fill) as my indoor traditional portrait. I turned on the flash on my phone camera. I think that the flash replaces the overhead lighting as the key light in this. It made the scene brighter.
