Requirement 1: Foreground
Since it is the holiday season, I kept seeing how many ornaments we had lying around the house, and I realized that I never actually focused much on what they look like and what material they are made out of. Using the camera on my phone, I switched it to portrait mode and I tried my best to only focus on the ornament itself, while having everything behind it blurred out.

Requirement 2: Mid-Ground
Again, another ornament that is nicely decorating my living room. With this one, I simple took a regular picture without the portrait mode but it ended up focusing really well on the ornament in contrast to the leaves around it.

Requirement 2 and 4: Mid-Ground and Plants
While the pinecone is not actually real, I found that this picture was really nice and I liked how the background faded nicely against the pinecone, while some of the leaves in front also shaded nicely. For the actual plant in the second photo, I used my portrait mode again to get a contrast between the plant and the background.

Requirement 3: Bug
I didn't plan this shot in specific, while I was doing this project I did not think I would find a bug, but lo and behold a baby scorpion ended up showing up at my doorstep, so I just snapped the photo before thinking.

Requirement 5: Man-made Objects
I grabbed my earrings that I had worn that day and I snapped a photo of them, but it was quite hard to make it contrast the background. However, I still like how I was able to closely look at the details it has which I had hardly taken the time to notice before.

ALL PICTURES TAKEN ON CANON EOS REBEL T6

Requirement 1: The two pictures below were taken around the same time at one of the fountains by the bell tower. Both contain a blurred background.

Requirement 2: This one was also taken around one of the water fountains by the bell tower. The background and foreground are both blurred.
Requirement 3: This one was taken in my girlfriend's front yard. Little critter was just chilling in one of her mom's aloe vera plants. I think he's a handsome little lad.
Requirement 4: This one was taken in my girlfriend's backyard. We were playing with the dogs outside and I decided to go take some pictures of one of her trees. This is probably my favorite photograph from this assignment.
Requirement 5: I bought this Venom Lego set specifically for this requirement. I was going to use one of the Legos that I already own but I didn't feel like driving back home to go grab one. I like the way it turned out though.

ALL PICTURES TAKEN ON CANON EOS REBEL T6

Requirement 1: This picture was taken along the Arkansas river at Riverfront Park. It is a night time picture of nature.

Requirement 2: I took this one on a really, really cold night. I was looking for stuff to photograph but it was so cold I stopped like ten minutes in. I was able to snap this before I left though. It is a night time picture of a piece of architecture that I think looked interesting.

Requirement 3: Both the pictures below are HDR. For the first one I decided to go a bit creative and make some of the objects appear in black white. I think it looks really cool. The second one was taken in an old fire pit in my backyard. It had just rained and I liked the way the water made the colors pop out.

Night and Color

                                                                             HDR

I just combined three different shots of this blues clues light. My girlfriends nephew really enjoyed this light so I thought it would cool to use it as my HDR.

Man made/ Architecture
Me and my girlfriend wanted to view Christmas lights and I figured it would be a perfect place for me to take this pictures. This was one of the biggest lights and I thought it was pretty cool because it was made for the train that goes around creek more and has some polar express inspiration.
                                                                                 Nature

I had a hard time finding a shot that used light outside at creekmore when I stumbled upon this tree covering a street lamp. I tried to a spot that you could barely but could still notice the light itself.

Requirement 1 Focus on the Foreground

We recently had a lot of flower bouquets in my home since they were birthday celebrations. In the first photo, I took a picture of these little white flowers in the bouquet. The background is out of focus. I photographed a Virginia Pepperweed from a different flower bouquet in the second photo. The background is out of focus as well.

Requirement 2: Focus on the Midground:

For this photo, I focused on the green plant in the middle that was surrounded by colorful flowers. The background of the picture is blurred and the foreground is blurred as well.

Requirement 3: Bugs

This was an attempt to photograph a butterfly when the project was initially set months ago. There were no bugs at my home to look for as of recently.

Requirement 4: Plants

This is my mother's oregano plant growing in the home. I wanted to show the texture of the leaves. You can see the difference between a mature and a baby leaf on the plant.

Requirement 5: Man-Made Objects

This is my ring. It was given to me by my mother as a graduation gift. I like the unique and the sort of antique look of the ring.
