Alayna Turner_Portraits and Light

#1 (Requirement 3) This is my outdoor available light portrait. For this picture, me and my model Tommie went out to the side of the Campus Center where there is a nice row of trees that provide shade. We had once taken pictures here before and knew that the lighting was great for pictures! There was a little bit of shade and just enough sun. I think the key light is the sun and the fill light is the shadows.

#2 (Requirement 2)

#2 (Requirement 2) These two photos are examples of indoor natural light portraits. For these pictures, we went into the CC and went under the staircase, where all the open windows were which, was letting in a ton of sunlight. The lighting we used was mainly the sun but by placing Tommie where the plant was blocking some of the sun and also by using the staircase we got some really good lighting.

#7 (Requirement 1) These are my FAVORITE pictures! I got Tommie to just naturally laugh and I'm OBSESSED with the outcome! For these photos, I was actually able to get into the Windgate studio and use the lighting kits from there which was pretty awesome but shhhh.. don't tell. In the last picture, you see I adjusted the lighting differently and moved the key light to the side.

#8 (Requirement 4) For this picture I was still in the studio but I created really harsh lighting by using all the big lights plus my flash on my phone camera. I think the key light here is the flash because of how noticeable it is and that the fill is the studio lighting.
